With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Margaret Partridge at the Smiths Falls Memorial Hospital on October 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving children.
Margaret was a devoted mother to Anthony (Jennifer), and Brandon. A cherished sister to Andrew (late Betty McRae), Kathryn (late Zannie Pankow), Mary (late Tommy Pasieka), Ben MacRae (Judy). Margaret was a proud grandmother to Carringtion and a beloved Aunt to Adam, Amanda (Rob) Brian (Julie)and Robert. Survived by her beloved Ethan and Mackenzie who held a special place in her heart. Margaret also held very dear friendships with Marilyn & Bonnie. She was predeceased by her parents Cornell and Clara MacRae.
Margaret was born in Almonte on March 5, 1949. Margaret dedicated her life to education, inspiring countless students with her passion and commitment. She was not only a remarkable teacher but also a nurturing mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Smiths Falls Hospital, the PSWs and nurses from Bayshore Home Care, and her friends at her condo for their exceptional care during her final journey.
A celebration of life in Margaret's honour will be held at the Captain A. Roy Brown, Legion Branch 192, Carleton Place, 177 George St. on November 30th from 11 - 2 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at United Cemeteries.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lanark County Community Home Support program, where she volunteered would be greatly appreciated.
