Stanley, Marlene Evelyn

Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Almonte General Hospital on Saturday May 21, 2022 at the age of 85. Loving wife of Donnie for 66 years. Dear mother of Karen More (Steve), Kevin (Cheryl) and Kim Fitzgerald. Cherished Granny of Laura Hewitt (Brad), Katelyn Purdy (Adam) and Allison More (Robert Corcoran)) and Connor and Brandon Fitzgerald. Proud GG of Mason and Gage Hewitt, Hudson, McKinley and Sawyer Purdy, and Tenley, Taven and Tayden Corcoran. Marlene will be sadly missed by her lifelong friends Frances Chappell and Mary Jean Baird.

Predeceased by her parents Stan & Eve Parsons (Baird).

Friends may support the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Monday in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at United Cemeteries.
