Marsha Lynn Goddard

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marsha Goddard on February 28, 2024

age 48. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

Marsha was a beloved mother to her three children, Arthur (Meagan), Tina (Jon) and

Brandon (Jeana). She was also a proud grandmother to her fifteen loving grandchildren,

who brought immense joy to her life.

Marsha will be deeply missed by her mother and father, Marlene (nee Hewitt) and

Barry, sisters, Susan (Jason), Janet, Grandmother Shirley Goddard, many nieces,

nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends whose lives she touched with

her warmth, kindness, and sense of humour. She will also be deeply missed by her

work family at Tarstone.

Her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts, and her legacy of love and

compassion will continue to inspire us all.

Thank you to all the staff that has cared for Marsha over the last 8 months at The

Kingston General Hospital, The Ottawa General Hospital and a very special thank you

to Dr. Champagne and the nurses at Carleton Place Hospital and her home care nurse

Amanda.

A celebration of life will be held to celebrate Marsha’s life on March 10, 2024 at Danby’s

Roadhouse, 6127 Perth Street, Richmond, Ont. from 2:00pm – 5:00pm

An interment will be held at a later date for the family at St. Francis Cemetery, Highway

15, Smiths Falls.
