Mary Ford passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on November 22, 2025 with her family by her side. She leaves behind her beloved husband Robert “Bob” of 58 years; her loving children Krista, Sheri, John, Andrea, Marie, and Angie; as well as her adoring grandchildren Isaac, Emma, Leah, Liam, Ethan, Jackson, Samia, Samuel, and Ava. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Gaila, brother Arthur, and her many nieces, nephews, and extended families. Predeceased by her parents Burke & Florence Nugent (nee Rooney), as well as by her siblings Anne, Lynn, and Burke.
Mary dedicated her life to taking care of her family, her home, and honouring her God as a Christian. She was a long-time member of the Catholic Church and very involved in her parish wherever she was living at the time. She had many talents, including her skills as a seamstress, baker, and calligrapher. Mary loved to sing, and greatly enjoyed her time with the Ottawa Police Choir. Her favourite holiday was Christmas when she could spend time with her loved ones and enjoy the festivities.
