KERSLAKE, Mary Elizabeth (Ian)

On September 21, 2023, in her 82nd year, Mary peacefully drew her last breath, in the Almonte Country Haven home, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her parents Mary Elizabeth (nee Shepherd) and Thomas Bergin Lowes. Survived by her brother Neil Lowes (Lorrie) and her sister Pat Hauraney.  Beloved wife of Ian Peter Kerslake. She is dearly missed by her daughters Dawne Stanley, Kim Stanley (Bruce), Jennifer Hills (Steve), her sons Brad Stanley (Lorie) and Scott Stanley (Francene), her grandchildren Nathan Adolphe, Nick Wilson (Lisa), Shaena Wilson, Serina Wilson, her great grandchildren Finley Wilson and Julian Wilson and her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by all her family and friends.

Mary was very active online for quite a long time and had over 1,500 Facebook friends. Her online alter ego was “FlowerFairy”. She enjoyed gaming amongst being a part of many Facebook groups that sparked her interests which included gardening.  Mary was a master gardener. She was well known for her love of gardening and sitting on the back deck enjoying the singing of the surrounding birds with her beloved husband and her two cherished cats, spud and snowflake.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will follow privately with the family.
