Mary Ellen Sinfield

Mary Ellen (Sturgeon) Sinfield was born on May 21, 1954 in Cornwall, Ontario.  She passed away on December 25, 2023 in her Carleton Place home following a recent decline in her long-term challenges with type 1 diabetes.  She was 69 years of age.  Mary Ellen is survived by her loving husband George, her family of cats, and friends who have laughed with her over the years.  

Mary Ellen made her career as a “Domestic Goddess,” enriching their castle with gardens, birds, antiques, tea parties and her ever-creative works of art.  Though choosing a solitary life for the last several years, past friends will remember many happy times enjoying Mary Ellen’s generous heart, raw wit and ready sense of humour, which she was only too glad to spring on any unsuspecting soul.  May she be remembered well!

According to Mary Ellen’s wishes, no memorial service will be held.
