Maureen passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of August 24th, 2021 at the age of 70 in her home in Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by her parents Claire and Walter Murphy of Smiths Falls, ON. Loved by her three children Kerry-Anne Kinsella, Dana (Adam) Dolezsar-Morel and Kurtis Dolezsar. She leaves behind her three brothers Mike (Grace) Murphy, Tim Murphy, Wayne (Debbie) Murphy and foster brother Kevin Coleman. Maureen was well known for her beautiful red hair, freckles and charm. She loved dancing, country music, dogs and white wine. She will be missed dearly by many relatives, friends and neighbours.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held (on her birthday) September 19th, 2021 at 3pm in the chapel of the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place. Attendance will be limited, due to Covid-19, to 40 guests. Family and friends planning to attend in person are kindly requested to RSVP. on the funeral home website.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer and Three Bridges Community Health for their exemplary care and compassion.
