Nicholas (Nick) Silieff

September 20th, 1953 – June 22nd, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Nick Silieff, of Carleton Place, on June, 22nd, 2025, at the age of 71.

Nick was the loving spouse of Joanne (MacInnis) for 51-years. The proud father of Jennifer (Andy), Lisa (Brent), and Nick Jr. (Julie). Grandpa to Spencer, Lexi, Darren, Fiona, Owen and Emily, and younger brother of Patricia, Elizabeth (Walter), and pre-deceased by Tania (Mahmood).

Nick grew up in Ottawa and had a passion for hockey. Whether he was playing, coaching or cheering on kids, grandkids and the Ottawa Senators, he was always around the game. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing with friends and was an avid fan of many sports.

Nick began his career at BNR (Nortel), which led to over 25-years with Ottawa tech companies. He took pride in finding and developing young talent and mentored many onto their own successful careers.
