June 1, 1942 – May 11, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce that Elaine passed away peacefully at the Civic Hospital on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the age of 81 years. She will be dearly missed by her children Kevin (Pam), Mike, Patrick, and Karen Stimpson (Lance), and her sister Sandy Landgraff, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her dear dog Sassy. Born in Windsor, Ontario and a longtime resident of the Carleton Place area, Elaine had many good friends in the region. She loved to read, cook, and tend her many gardens and plants. Elaine was a devoted member of Boyd’s United church and the Golden Jubilee Chapter 316 (District 14) of the Eastern Star. She will always be loved and remembered for her willingness to help, volunteer, and support her family, friends, community, and numerous organizations and charities.
 

In keeping with Elaine’s wishes, there will be no visitation or religious service. The family has requested a small private service be held for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elaine’s honor to a charity of your choice.
