Norman Amey Obituary

Norman Amey

1960 - 2023

It is with heavy hearts we share Norm's passing, peacefully at home on Monday, November 20, 2023. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by Penny, his best friend, partner and kindred spirit over the past 16 years and his four daughters, Sarah (Chad), Jessica (Mark), Emily (Shane), Stefanie and ten beautiful grandchildren. Over the years Norm enjoyed a very close relationship with Jenna, adopting her years ago into his family of daughters. He will be deeply missed by Joanne (Danny), Emily (Mike), Bobby, Geoff and their families.

Norm spent most of his career with Queens University while hobby farming in rural areas neighboring Kingston. He was passionate about his fishing often commenting that "his church" was on the lake. He possessed amazing artistic skills and leaves behind some beautiful paintings of wild life and many sketches. He was a Woodsman at heart spending literally hours cutting, splitting and meticulously stacking his wood over the last 40 years.

At this time in lieu of flowers, a donation to The Food Bank of your choice, in memory of Norm would be greatly appreciated.
