Peter Posch

It is with great love and sadness in our hearts that we announce the death of Peter Posch who passed away peacefully in his home in Carleton Place the evening of Saturday, May 18th, 2024. Peter was 75 years old and surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. Peter was born to Robert and Kaye Posch on March 16, 1949, in Ottawa. He attended Fisher Park High School, Class of 1967. As a proudly retired OC Transpo employee, Peter will be remembered for his joy and commitment to being an outstanding bus driver for the city of Ottawa. Peter had a presence like no other, he loved to be the life of the party, and he was always smiling and laughing and having a good time. He was a man of strong faith and his unwavering love for God, especially during adversity, was a testament to the strength of his character. His distinctive witty humor and incredible spirit for life will live on through everyone who was blessed enough to know him.

Dear father of Ella-Anne and Mitchell, and loving stepfather of Shawn, Dave, and Cory. Cherished ex-husband of Sandra. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, dear sister Peggy, and beloved niece Kimberly. Adored brother of Lynda, Barbara, Cathie, and Bob. Proud ‘Grandpa Pete’ of Jonathon, Patrick, Josh, Grace, Reed, Callum, and Owen. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Scott, Joanne, Vanessa, John, Jennifer, Tyler, Lewis, Eva, Jonathan, Holly, Hannah, and Sterling. Along with his great nieces and nephews, Cameron, Hanna, Sapphira, Timoteo, Isabella, Maddie, Aiden, Maria, and Micheal. Dearly missed by so many friends including Big Al, John and Christine.
