In Loving Memory of
Robert "Kerry" Bouckhuyt
Kerry passed away tragically on July 24, 2025, doing what he loved—riding his motorcycle. He was 66 years young, born on May 17, 1959, in Simcoe, Ontario, to Robert Remie Bouckhuyt and Patricia Rose Bouckhuyt (née Earle).
Predeceased by his father and sister Kathi (Keith) Michie, Kerry leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Jane Bouckhuyt (née Ashmore-Falardeau); his mother, Patricia Rose Bouckhuyt; and his sister, Shelley (Robert) Pettigrew.
A proud father, Kerry will be dearly missed by his daughters, Sarah Bouckhuyt (Martin Gratton), Jennifer Bouckhuyt, and Rebecca Bouckhuyt; his stepsons, Kevin (Ashley née Lahey) Falardeau and Blake Falardeau; and his sons-in-law, Dave McWilliams and Cuong Bui.
He held a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren: Kenzie, Lena, Cotter, Ella, Liam, Rosie, Colton, Ruby and Gordon. Kerry’s extended family—his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews—will remember him with love and admiration.
Kerry was a master carpenter and jack of all trades. His legendary storytelling lit up every room, and his golf buddies will miss the laughter he brought to every round. Kerry left behind not only countless memories, but also countless stories—funny, touching, and bold—each one a window into his vibrant spirit.
He lived life with grit, humour, and endless generosity, and he will continue to inspire all who knew him.
