Raymonde Marie Burns (Langlois)
Will be deeply missed by her son James. Born in Timmins, Ontario, on December 31, 1925 passed away at Lanark Lodge on April 23, 2025 in her 100th year. Predeceased by husband Donald James Burns and loving sons Garry Burns and Keith Burns. Predeceased by parents Yvonne Boulet and Wilfred Langlois.
Nanny Burns will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind her sisters Yvette and Dennise predeceased by siblings Ludger, Simon and Johnny as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Raye would love to tell funny jokes to make you laugh. She worked in the Government of Canada for 25 years then proceeding with her passion for artwork and painting canvas and rocks, as well as teaching art classes. She was a true snowbird for many years in Orlando Florida and resided in Carleton Place, Mississippi Lake Campground in summers before moving to Carleton Place permanently.
Visitation will be held at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10a.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 11a.m. and a reception to follow.
