Richard Hamilton

Peacefully with his family by his side, on November 22, 2024,Richard Hamilton passed away at the age of 78. Beloved husband for 36 years to Maureen Hamilton (Welsh). Father to Jody Drew (Rob Wilson) and Cory Hamilton (Stephanie Bailey). Grandfather to Taylor Drew (Caleb Syme) and Maddison Drew.

Rick had a deep, hardy, infectious laughter that will be missed by many friends and family.

You are slowly slipping away, a little more every day. It’s so hard to watch you grow old. 

We will hold your hand, until it gets cold. 

We hold our tears, until you go. 

And the life you had leaves your soul. 

Your body may have changed, but your heart never did. You loved us like your own, since we were kids. 

May we all have the strength for what's coming next, And let our memories be strong so we never forget. 

Fly high now Dad, it's time to get your wings. I can hear the angels' voices as they begin to sing. 

We’ll say goodbye for now, you are off to see the man. Don’t be scared now Dad, it’s all a part of his plan. 

We will all stay in this place for a while. 

But someday, we will meet again 

And see your beautiful smile.
