It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred in his 78th year on February 6, 2025. Beloved husband of almost 55 years to Leona and dear father to Sherry (Rick) and Shawn (Mimi). Loving grandfather to Julia, Samantha (Graeme), Megan (Mike), Jessie, Jamie & Jordan. Will be sadly missed by his 5 great grandchildren, many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Barker Funeral Home (19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place) on Saturday February 15, 2025 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. As an expression of your sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
