It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Larry Cairns, who passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2025, by his wife Judy’s side.

Born in Kingston, Larry lived a life full of kindness and generosity-a steady, gentle presence who had lasting effect on all those that knew him.

Larry had an extraordinary gift for making others feel heard and valued. His most profound legacy is his deep lasting love for his wife and family, along with the visible impact he had on the countless lives he mentored.

Larry will be forever missed by his wife of 62 years, Judy, his children, Richard (Sheelah), Stephanie (Robert), Patricia (Stephen), and his grandchildren, Scott, Trish, Jodi, Emily, Mitchell, Jamie, and Lachlan, along with his great-grandchild, Remington.

He is predeceased by parents, Bill and Jean, along with sisters, Bonnie and Joan.

While there will be no formal gathering, Larry will be remembered every day in the hearts of

those who loved him.
