DOWDALL Robert Mervil Garnet

September 23, 1933 – June 30, 2025

Bob passed away peacefully at Perth Hospital, in his 92nd year.

He was predeceased by his parents Garnet and Margret (Stewart) Dowdall and his first wife Joyce Dowdall. His sisters Nora Baird, Helena Baird, Doreen White, Mary Clapp and brother Cecil Dowdall.

Left to mourn him is his wife Eleanor Dowdall, his sons Mike (Helen), Dave (Arlene), Randy (Corinne), Rick (Tracy).  Grandchildren Laura Dowdall, Sarah (Chris) Barrett, Amanda Dowdall (Ryan), Lisa (Chris) O’Neil, Eric Dowdall, Colin (Rachel) O’Hara, Todd Dowdall, Sydney (Tyson) Dodson, Brian (Cherina) Dowdall, Adam Dowdall and 10 great-grandchildren. Stepchildren Denise (Gord) Varcoe, Gwen (Rennee) Thompson, Eric (Suzannne) Thompson. Bob will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will take place  at Belleville Cemetery, 631 Dundas St. W., Belleville, Ontario.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Alan R. Barker Funeral Home in Carleton Place, Ontario.
