It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert on Sept 24, 2021. Surrounded by love, Bob passed peacefully and left behind a huge hole in our hearts. Predeceased by his parents, Daniel & Jacqueline Glenn. Robert will be truly missed by his loving partner Sharron Leeder. Dearest Dad to Natalie (John) Dinis, Richard (Amanda) Glenn. Proud Papa to Emelia, Daniel and Abigail. He will be greatly missed by his sister Trish (Mike Szafranski), his niece Michelle Szafranski (Kevin), nephew Alec Szafranski (Michaela), great uncle to Lexie, as well as the mother of his children, Margaret. We would like to extend our gratitude to the ICU staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for the compassion and the high quality of care Bob received. Visitation will take place Friday October 15th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, Carleton Place. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 16th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 28 Hawthorne St. Carleton Place. Attendance at the funeral home is limited to a maximum of 15 people at a time. Family and friends planning to attend the visitation are kindly requested to RSVP to reserve their place on the Barker Funeral Home website. Please note that face masks are mandatory at all times, social distancing must be observed with no physical contact. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Concussion Legacy Foundation.
