June 17th, 1952 – November 5th, 2022

Ron Adey passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on an unseasonably warm November day. Loving husband of 43 years to Christine Adey (nee Johnson), father to Melissa Garneau (Eric), Courtney Puddington (Lucas) and Kayla Adey (Dineen). He will be remembered and greatly missed by his grandchildren Kolby Adey, Penelope and Rose Puddington, Adeya and Chloé Garneau.

Born to John and Doreen Adey, on June 17th, 1952 and raised lovingly with his brothers Robert Adey (Hazel), Harold Adey (Wanda) and Brian Adey. Loved and missed by many nieces, nephews and Friends. A true family man and friend, Ron touched everyone’s lives with warmth, acceptance and respect. He welcomed all whom he met with open arms. Forever bringing cheer and laughter to those around him, he taught us all the joy of togetherness and the importance of love. We pray the bond you started with us will continue in your memory and we will carry your love, your legacy, for generations to come.

A celebration of life will take place at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home and Chapel, 19 McArthur Avenue in Carleton Place, Ontario, on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00pm. Followed by a luncheon hosted in the lounge on the lower level. As it was Ron’s greatest wish to bring people together in life, the family would like for all to come together to celebrate, love and remember his beautiful spirit.

In lieu of flowers and for his love of children, Ron Adey had requested donations be made to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
