Ruth Villeneuve
1955-2022
Long time employee of Tim Horton’s, Carleton Place
Peacefully in the afternoon at Almonte Hospital with family at her side, Ruth left us at the age of 67. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her sisters, Barbara (Brian) and Sue, her brother Dave, her nephews, Fraser, Clay (Megan), Ryan, her great niece, Lily and great nephew, Declan. She will be missed by her very special Aunt Ann, Uncle Brian and cousins. A sister to Frank Villeneuve. Predeceased by her mother and father, Joan and Doug Villeneuve and her brother, Fred.
Ruth was a long-time employee of Tim Hortons, Carleton Place. The simplest pleasures in life brought her such joy- her love for bingo, trips to the casino, travels to Florida, working in her vegetable plots, gatherings and celebrations with family and friends.
Although Ruth had many personal achievements, her proudest was receiving her diploma and writing some great poetry, getting her drivers license and buying a new car.
Although her time at Almonte Country Haven was not long, she loved it and all the care and attention she received.
Thank you to all who touched Ruth’s heart. In her memory, please take a friend for coffee!
At Ruth’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
