Sam(ol) In
Sam(ol) In at age 73 shared over 50 years of marriage with Pheng In and was a father to Criss Jackson and Kon In as well as a father in-law to Andrew Jackson and Karine Gougeon. He was a beloved Gong to Cyana and Leisha Jackson and was a cherished brother to Ton and Boun In.
He has dedicated his career to working at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario for over 40 years where he was admired by his peers. Sam often spent his free time tending to his flower beds, when he wasn’t tending to his flowers you could find him around the corner in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed his life’s work as a chef and would often be in the kitchen making his famous lasagna.
His many memories will live on and he will be terribly missed by his adoring granddaughters, family and friends.
Friends may support the family during a visitation from 12 noon - to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
