Scott Drummond
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Drummond on December 29, 2025, at the age of 64. Born Scott Argyle Drummond in Carleton Place, where he spent the majority of his life, Scott was widely known as “Mate” in his hometown. He could often be found fishing along the river in Carleton Place and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman with a deep appreciation for nature.
Scott was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a dear friend to many. He will be remembered for his kindness, his love of the outdoors, and the strong connections he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his beloved sons, Cole and Riley, daughter-in-law Sonja and his cherished grandchildren, Nova and Lainey. He is also lovingly remembered by his Uncle Wayne (Lorna), Aunt Eileen, Aunt Diane, Nanny Judy, and her daughters Cathy and Kerri-anne.
Scott was predeceased by his father Argyle, mother Cemone, brother Jeffery, and sister Donna.
May God rest “Pops” in peace. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion 192, Capt. A. Roy Brown Branch, 177 George St., Carleton Place on Sunday, January 18th, 2026 from 12-4pm.
