It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Ronald Marshall, 54, at the Ottawa Heart Institute CSICU on August 29, 2025. Born on February 9, 1971, in Peterborough, Ontario, Scott was a kind, generous, and understanding individual, known for his devotion as a husband and family man.
Throughout his life, Scott enjoyed motorcycle riding, traveling, and building remote control cars, activities that allowed him to express his creativity and adventurous spirit. He shared these passions with his family and friends, creating lasting memories.
Scott is survived by his parents, Ron and Phyllis Marshall; his wife, Johanne (nee Labreche); sons, Dylan (Caitlin) and Bryce; brothers, Lindsay (Karen) and Kevin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Archer.
Scott was a hard working "jack of all trades" that could and would do anything for his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Alan R. Barker Funeral Home in Carleton Place, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any charity of choice, honoring Scott's generous spirit.
