Shari Lynn Anderson (Holland) passed unexpectedly on September 27, 2024, at the age of 59. She will be forever missed by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ted, whom she loved with all her heart. Shari was the best mom in the world to her two daughters, Hannah (Hayden) and Hunter (Justin), who will miss her immensely. She loved her Yorkie, Belle, and ‘grand-dogs’, Hazel, Frankie and Winnie, who will forever be missing turkey dinners, treats, and Gramgrams hugs. Shari took on a maternal role to many who knew her, always willing to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or a mothers advice.
Shari was born in Campbellford, Ontario, on March 27th, 1965 to William and Carol Holland. She spent her childhood in the Peterborough region before attending Sir Sanford Fleming College in Lindsay, Ontario. In 1983, Shari met Ted at the Lindsay Ex Fair, where he offered her
a pair of gloves (which she initially turned down). After the fair, they began dating and quickly became inseparable, showing everyone what true love is, from working in the same mining exploration camp, to raising a family together. They were married in 1987, for 37 years, moving
throughout northern Ontario before settling in Beckwith, Ontario. Shari worked in commercial design and move coordination, and often used those skills outside of work, adjusting workspace setups for her daughters whenever she would visit them at work. Her favourite activities were spending time with family, painting, and crafting. Shari put the magic in Christmas, and made sure it was special for everyone. She lit up every room she walked into, and touched many hearts with her kind and gentle soul. Shari had a knack for event planning, and played an
instrumental part in planning her daughter Hunter’s wedding. She did not ‘half-ass’ anything she did, whether it was a simple family dinner or wedding planning. Next time you feel a calm presence, the drive to not ‘half-ass’ something, or want to set up your Christmas tree in early
fall, know that Shari is there beside you. Shari has left an immense mark on the Outpost crew, having dedicated many years to
perfecting the shopping routine, hours upon hours of cooking homemade meals on a woodstove, and designing camp layouts for every renovation. She will be forever loved and remembered as a key member of the hunt camp family. Shari will be forever loved; missed by her brother John Watson, nephew Terry Watson, cousin Shelly Maloney (Kevin), Aunt Shirley and late Uncle Ross Holland, Uncle Doug and Aunt
Sharon Holland, Aunt Joann Hayes, Aunt Linda and late Uncle Eric, mother & father in-law Elizabeth and David Heustin, niece Ashley Anderson (Mitch), nephew Dawson Anderson, great nephew Hayden Oullette, great niece Brynlee Oullette, brothers in-law Steve Anderson (Glenda) and Lan Anderson. Aunts and Uncles Deb and Gary Turner, Linda and Larry Anderson, Bob and Denise Anderson, Chuck Anderson, Joyce Rifou (Marcel), Pauline Ruck, Bob Ruck (Sandy). She was predeceased by her parents, William and Carol Holland (Miller), brother Terrence, uncle Ted (Lois), uncle Tom, uncle Barry (Diana), and father in-law Lloyd Anderson. Shari will be missed by many other friends and family members. Shari’s family meant everything to her, and she is so immensely loved and missed. Please hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight, as tomorrow is not always promised.
