GARDINER, Shawn Francis

May 8, 1966 - April 22, 2024

 Unexpectedly at home on Monday April 22, 2024, at the age of 57 years.
Beloved husband of Sherry (Foote). Loving father of Erin and Kelly (Michael). Cherished son of Tom and Connie Gardiner and loving brother of Lyman (Doris), Laurie (Patti) and Charlene. Predeceased by Lee. Survived by his in-laws Robert and Bonnie Foote, sisters-in-law Jill (Blair) and Stephanie, and his many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.  Shawn’s most cherished moments were spent with his family.  Sherry and his girls were his world and he was theirs.  Shawn enjoyed working and running his own business Northern Heating and Cooling. He loved the outdoors and hunting, living in Scotch Corners and still to this day enjoyed spending time with his neighborhood friends and “Scotch Corners Council”.

Friends may support the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  Funeral service will be in the chapel on Monday, April 29 at 11 a.m.  Donations to Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Canada would be appreciated by the family.
