Grant, Maude Elizabeth “Sheila”

Peacefully with her family by her side, at the Carleton Place Hospital, on Wednesday June 24, 2026 at the age of 90.

Predeceased by her husband Lyall and her son Kendall. Loving mother of Doug (Lisa). Proud grandmother of Matt (Alexa) and Amber (Tanner). Loving great- grandmother of Isabel and Ava. Survived by her sister Christine Curtis and her sister-in-law Marjorie (Ambrose Adam). Also predeceased by her parents Chant and Marjorie (Sheil) Curtis, her brothers Gerald (Marjorie-surviving) and Frank and her sister-in-law Dorothy (Craig Stratton).

Friends may visit and support the family at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Thursday July 2, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral service Friday in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Boyd’s Cemetery.
