Stephen Merville Wark

August 28, 1954 - November 13, 2023

Unexpectedly, at home in Boyds Settlement, on Monday November 13, 2023, at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosemary Wark (nee McDiarmid). Beloved father of Stephen Jr. (Amanda). Cherished Grandpa of Gavin and Lilly. Predeceased by his parents Merville (1987) and Norma (2018) Wark, in laws Wayne (2020) and Marie (2020) McDiarmid, Douglas (2015) and Shirley (2023) McDiarmid. Survived by siblings Lee, Carol Ondovcik (Paul), Terri Hjorth (Ed), Neil, David (Marie-Anne Bedard). Also survived by McDiarmid brother & sister in-laws Allen (Kelley), Keith (Melissa) and Kelvin. He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may support the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Monday November 20, 2023 from 11 to 2 p.m. for visitation. Please feel free to dress casual as Steve always hated to wear suits and ties. Graveside Funeral Service and Interment at Dewars Cemetery on Glenashton Road at Dewar Side Road, in Beckwith Township.
