Stephen “Woody” Fish
1949 – 2025
It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen “Woody” Fish, who left us peacefully on the evening of October 6, 2025, with family by his side, at the age of 76.
Woody was a devoted husband to Kay, a proud stepfather to Sheryl (Keith) and Corey, and a cherished “Grampy” to Sarah, Meghan, Maddy, and Kaylee, who filled his heart with joy. He was a loving uncle to Sandra (Dave), Bob (Dee), Angie (Martin), Brenda (Scott), Leeann (Dave), the late Scott (Elaine), and his many grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Betty, his father, Steve, and his beloved siblings, Sue (Bill) and Terry (June), who he held dear throughout his life. He is survived by his sister Sharron.
Woody was a dedicated employee of Enbridge for many years before enjoying his retirement with family, friends, and mother nature.
Woody will be remembered for his humour, passion, and spirited nature. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace in its quiet beauty. Strong, kind, and full of life, he left an impression on everyone who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at a later date to be announced.
Woody’s love, laughter, and strength will forever live on — in the hearts of those who loved him, and in the peace of the woods he called home.
