Susan Edith Allen

It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Edith Allen (nee Fish) announce her peaceful passing on Friday, January 26th, 2024, at the age of 72. 

Susan is lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Bill; children: Angie (Martin) and Brenda; sister: Sharon (Andre) Pelletier; brothers: Stephen (Kay) Fish, Terry (June) Fish; and her grandchildren: Jordan (Kebrina), Paul Jr,  and Trinity.  She was predeceased by her loving parents Stephen and Betty.
 

Susan grew up in Richmond Ontario.

At the age of 17 she was crowned the sesquicentennial queen of Richmond and married her true love Bill that same year.  She had a great career in the tech industry while raising her family in Ottawa and sunny San Diego and enjoyed the retirement life beginning in the early 2000's. She loved to travel, play golf, swim, cook and entertain family and friends every chance she got. She was a beautiful, strong-willed woman with a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by so many. 

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday February 2nd at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 67 Fowler St, Richmond Ontario K0A 2Z0.  A reception with light refreshments will follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honour can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
