Edwards, Thomas (Tom, Tommy)
Tom passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022, in his 88th year. Tom is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sellers and was predeceased by his first wife Jo-Ann Edwards (nee Neuert). Tom is survived by his daughter Shawn Louise (Steve) White and his son Greg (Chrissy) Edwards and his stepchildren Mary Ellen and Tim Sellers. Loving grandfather of Jocelyn (Mitch) Mielnichuk, Allie (Mat) Wildbore, Tara-Lee and Tommy Edwards and Lillian Lombard-Jones and great-grandfather of Abigail and Ava Mielnichuk and Brooklyn Wildbore. Tom is also survived by his sister Marjorie (Mel) Murton.
Tom will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends, many of which are from the dancing world. He was retired from the RCMP and the Yukon government and enjoyed both dancing and teaching dancing as well as travelling in his retirement years.
His family extends a heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Granite Ridge Care Community for their care and compassion in taking care of Tom. Donations in Tom’s memory can made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to your charity of choice.
A small private funeral will be held for the family. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.
