Peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at the age of 66.

Beloved husband of the late Heather McGonegal and loving father of Melissa and Mark McGonegal. Cherished Grandpa to Harlyn and Bryar. Survived by his mother Marjorie McGonegal (late Floyd McGonegal) and his sister Tracy Barrie (Mike). He will be greatly missed by many sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and his dog Sandy.

Friends may support the family at the Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue Carleton Place, on Tuesday June 24, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at United Cemeteries, Carleton Place.
