Tracey Jette

November 30, 1962 – March 21, 2025

Released from her emotional and physical battle with Cancer on March 21, 2025, Tracey passed away peacefully at her home in Carleton Place surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 62. Reunited with her daughter Brandy, her mother Margaret, her sister Karen, her mother in-law Claudette, her sister in-law Ghislaine, brother in-law Sylvain and her nephew Robbie.

Tracey was the definition of a warrior; smart, easy going and extremely strong-willed, never letting her cancer and disability define who she was. She carried on with life giving her all, beating all odds, living life to the fullest and spreading joy and laughter at every opportunity. She was well known for her unwavering love for family. Her biggest pleasure in life was to make people happy. She had a gift of making friends with all she met and took care of many anyway she could. She leaves behind her beloved husband Pierre, her loving daughter Elizabeth, sisters Debbie and Toni. Her grandchildren; Skyla, Destiny, and Benjamin and brother in-laws, Mario, Fernand, Pierre, and John. Tracey also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews that she always made feel special; Courtney, Robert, Christine, Steven, Jeffery, Caroline, Alexandre, Marie-Eve, Phillippe, Jennifer, Margaret, Shane and their kids; K-Lynn, Geoffrey, Noah, Melody, Jaxon, Oliver, Kobi, Levi, Danika, Joshua, Brody, Elena, Kara, Maddox, Daxton, Hadley, Morley, Quinn, Tyler and Florence.

A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center and the Bayshore Home Care team for taking such good care of Tracey.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, ON.  A funeral service celebrating her life will take place in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
