It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Valerie Dorothy Fraser on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Valerie was the beloved daughter of the late Edith and Allen Earl. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family and all who knew her.

Valerie devoted over 30 years of her life to caring for others as a nurse at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital. Her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on those she treated.

In her quiet moments, Valerie found joy in crocheting and knitting, as well as getting immersed in a good book. She loved her Hallmark movies and her weekly shopping trips to the Walmart in Carleton Place.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation services.

A private gathering to celebrate her life will be held in the new year.
