Obituary

Wasylko, William “Bill”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on Monday, November 22, 2021.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Sam and Anne Krywchuk and is brother Edward.  He is survived by is beloved wife Pat; his sister Shirley and his children, Warren (Colleen), Wendy, Tim (Marcie), and Steven, his 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Bill was born in Winnipeg and attended Sisler High School.  He went on to complete his degree in accounting at the University of Winnipeg which led to a long career with Revenue Canada.  In his early years he enjoyed playing football for the Winnipeg Rods football club. He had many hunting and fishing adventures that he loved to share.  Bill took up downhill skiing later in life and tried to convince all of us that he could teach anyone to ski!  His greatest joy was spending time with family outdoors and watching his children and grandchildren play their various sports.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Carleton Place Hospital for their care and compassion.

At Bill’s request, the family will hold a private celebration of life.
