William (Bill) Braiden Obituary

William (Bill) Braiden

May 2, 1958 – June 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Braiden following a private, courageous battle with cancer. He passed away at home on June 12, 2025.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife Lynn, who has been by his side since high school. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten by his children, Shane (Nicole) and Chantal (Tayler). Bill cherished his children and could not have been prouder, never missing an opportunity to talk about them.

In the community, Bill was better known as “The Appliance Guy” where he was respected for his knowledge, his skill and mostly his honesty. He loved what he did and despite his health challenges, he was reluctant to retire.

Bill enjoyed camping and fishing. He spent many early mornings on the Mississippi. However, a perfect day for Bill consisted of sitting on the back deck and watching his beautiful grandchildren that he adored, Jackson, Scarlett, Julia and Maeve.

Even though it breaks our hearts to say goodbye, we will remember Bill as “The Best!”

There will be no formal service. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
