Wachter, William

Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Carleton Place Hospital on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the age of 90.

Predeceased by his wife Sheila. Loving father of Susan (Don), Richard (Wendy), Christa (Joe), Harold (Penny), Lloyd (Eileen), Gregory (Beth) and Heidi (Billy). Proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Dear uncle Willy of Frank Henning and Michaela Deppe. Will be missed by his partner Edna.

Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carleton Place.

For those who wish, a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
